Description
Product Overview: Targa Super Herbicide
Targa Super Herbicide is a selective, systemic herbicide from the aryloxy phenoxy-propionate group, specifically formulated to control narrow leaf weeds in broadleaf crops.
Technical Details:
- Active Ingredient: Quizalofop Ethyl 5% EC
- Mode of Entry: Systemic action
Mode of Action: As a post-emergent herbicide, Targa Super effectively moves through the plant system to eliminate weeds. Once applied, affected weeds lose their ability to regenerate. The herbicide is rapidly absorbed, ensuring its efficacy even if rain occurs just one hour after application. Within 5-8 days, weed foliage changes to a purplish-red hue, and complete eradication occurs within 10-15 days.
Key Features and Benefits:
- Highly effective against narrow leaf weeds such as Echinochloa spp., goosegrass, foxtail, Cynodon (doob), large crabgrass, Saccharum sp. (kans), Hemarthria sp. (suttu), wild sorghum, and various volunteer crops.
- Kills weeds without burning them, preventing regrowth.
- Dead weeds decompose, enriching the soil as organic manure to enhance plant health.
- Quick absorption provides rainfastness within one hour of application.
