Oxykill is a selective, contact herbicide designed to control annual broadleaf weeds, some grasses, and suppress certain perennials. It exhibits both pre-emergence and targeted post-emergence activity, making it a versatile solution for weed management.

Mode of Action:
Oxykill inhibits the enzyme Protoporphyrinogen oxidase, which leads to the accumulation of phototoxic compounds (heme and chlorophyll precursors). In the presence of light, these compounds generate activated oxygen species, which disrupt cellular membranes, ultimately killing the weeds. Sunlight is essential for Oxyfluorfen’s effectiveness.

Usage:

• Crops: Onion, Tea, Potato, Groundnut, Direct-Seeded Rice, Mint
• Dosage: Mix 450-850 ml of Oxykill in 500 liters of water for application.
