Mode of Action:
Dhanucop 50 WP is a broad-spectrum contact fungicide with protective action. The copper component binds strongly to amino acids and carboxyl groups in the target organism’s proteins, acting as an enzyme inhibitor. It disrupts essential enzymes in fungal spores, preventing spore germination by interacting with sulphahydral groups. Copper is actively accumulated by spores, and even low concentrations are sufficient to inhibit spore germination.
