Description
Product Overview:
Odyssey Herbicide by BASF is a selective, post-emergence herbicide designed for effective control of broadleaf weeds and grasses. It is absorbed through both the roots and leaves, and translocated via the xylem and phloem, offering broad-spectrum weed control by inhibiting Acetolactate synthase (ALS), a key enzyme essential for protein synthesis in weeds.
Technical Details:
- Active Ingredients: Imazamox + Imazethapyr
Key Features:
- Broad-spectrum action against a wide range of weeds
- Fast-acting weed control
Mode of Action:
Odyssey® is an ALS-inhibiting herbicide, absorbed by both the roots and foliage of weeds. It quickly translocates to the growing points, inhibiting the enzyme Acetolactate synthase, which is crucial for the production of branched-chain amino acids, leading to the disruption of protein synthesis in weeds.
