Sunrice Herbicide plays a crucial role in promoting healthy rice crops by effectively managing unwanted weeds. Its active ingredient, Ethoxysulfuron 15% WDG, belongs to the sulfonyl urea group of herbicides. When tank-mixed with a grass herbicide like Rice Star, it offers comprehensive weed control in rice fields. Sunrice is quick-acting, specifically targeting sedges and broadleaf weeds.

Technical Details:

• Active Ingredient: Ethoxysulfuron 15% WDG
• Mode of Entry: Selective, post-emergent
• Mode of Action: Ethoxysulfuron is absorbed primarily through the leaves and translocated within the plant. The herbicide inhibits plant growth, resulting in chlorotic patches that spread first upwards, then downwards. Full plant death occurs within 3-4 weeks. It works by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase enzyme.
